0 ‘Men in Black 3′ Teaser Posters

Here are the first teaser posters for Sony’s Men in Black 3, the sequel that was strangely split into two parts while shooting. The movie brings Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones back into the alien-policing fold while also serving up a time-travel storyline that features Josh Brolin and a host of strange cameos. We haven’t seen an official image yet, much less a trailer, but if you really want something official these two very early teaser posters will have to do.
The two posters don’t tell us much beyond the basic fact of the film’s existence. They don’t even reference the fact of the film being in 3D. Check them out below.
Collider‘s Matt Goldberg snapped one of the images in the wild here in Atlanta, while the other was sent in to FirstShowing by a reader.
You might also notice an URL buried in the posters, TheMenInBlackSuitsAreReal.com, which points to a Facebook page bearing a similar name.
All the page offers is some insistence that the MiB are real, but perhaps Sony will start using the platform to unveil some real materials in the near future. Here’s some of the text you’ll find there now:
I’ve uncovered that there’s these Men in Black suits who monitor and police alien activity on earth. Up until now no one believes me, so I’m on a mission to prove that they’re real and that’s why I started this Facebook page.
Men in Black 3 was directed by Barry Sonnenfeld and also features Emma Thompsonas Agent Oh, and Alice Eve as a young version of that character, as well as Bill HaderJemaine ClementRip Torn and Michael Stuhlbarg. The film is scheduled for release on May 25, 2012.

0 The Darkest Hour new trailer

TheDarkestHour.jpgThere are some very interesting shots during the new trailer for The Darkest Hour, forget for a moment the dance crazed soundtrack that doesn't always fit with the images and look to the images themselves, particularly later in the trailer.
I really wish you could step through these trailers as you can with downloaded ones because there are a few cracking images later on, watch around one minute fourteen seconds to see the alien doing something I can't figure out. Perhaps revealing itself.
The effects look fantastic, that's one thing that's very clear from the trailer, and the potential for the film is pretty big.
Chris Gorak directed the film, you might have seen his very powerful Right at Your Door, and it's produced byTimur Bekmambetov, which could mean a variety of things really. It stars Emile Hirsch, Olivia Thirlby, Max Minghella, Rachael Taylor and Joel Kinnaman, as a group of teenagers caught in Russia during a planet wide invasion of creatures who are out to harvest all the energy from Earth, in whatever form it comes in, usually people.
Turn down the volume and enjoy the images in the trailer for The Darkest Hour which /Film and First showing found:

0 New Poster for the Expendables 2

Looking at this poster just might make you a sprout a chest hair or two. Seriously, the testosterone in this single photo oozing out of every pixel and how can it not? take a look for yourself!

So many pecks, so many biceps, so many expendables that I can’t even compute anymore. Seeing Norris, van Damme, Governator, Willis and Stallone on the same poster is unearthing feelings for 80′s splosions that I never knew I had. Prolly should be illegal to take advantage of me like this bu I hope they keep em coming!

0 The Highest Paid Young Actors in Movies

How much will Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner, the three young stars of 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn' earn for their work on the two-part series finale? Hard to say; in addition to their salaries of $25 million apiece, they're also entitled to 7.5 percent of the gross, which could raise their fees by tens of millions more. ('Breaking Dawn Part 1' has already earned $283.5 million worldwide since opening on Friday.) It doesn't seem like they'll be able to keep earning such lofty paychecks after 'Twilight,' but for now, they're among the highest paid young actors in Hollywood. In that, they join the now-grown 'Harry Potter' cast, Miley Cyrus and several other rising stars who have earned enough to afford a Lamborghini before being old enough to drive one. Check out the gallery below for the scoop on the top-earning young adults in the movie business.

0 'Breaking Dawn' Birth Scene Reportedly Causing Seizures

Warning! 'Breaking Dawn, Part 1' can not only cause severe swooning, but seizures! That's no joke for audience members who have found themselves passing out during the intense birth scene. The flashing of red, black and white during the climactic scene is apparently triggering seizures in those with photosensitive epilepsy. Brandon Gephart in Roseville, Calif. was "convulsing, snorting, [and] trying to breathe," his girlfriend Kelly Bauman told ABCNews. Gephart blacked out, then came to on the theater floor. He was taken out by paramedics and the rest of the screening was canceled. He's not the only one: A man in Salt Lake City (who didn't give his name for fear of being fired from his job) told his local ABC channel, "I think I blacked out. According to [my wife], I was shaking and mumbling different noises."

Dr. Michael G. Chez, medical director of pediatric neurology and epilepsy for Sutter Sacramento, told CBS 13 in Sacramento, "It's like a light switch going off, because it hits your brain all at once. The trouble with theaters, it's dark, the lights flashing in there is more like a strobe light.

Readers commenting on the ABCNews site also report other seizure incidents, although one wiseacre noted, "I don't think it's the lights. I think it's the script."

0 Ben Whishaw to Play James Bond Character Q in 'Skyfall'

Director Sam Mendes is certainly trying to up the hot factor for the latest James Bond movie, 'Skyfall.' In addition to the return of Daniel Craig as the main character, the Hollywood Reporter says that British hottie/acting sensation Ben Whishaw will be playing Bond character Q.

With the casting of Whishaw, Q will be younger than 007, marking the first time in the film franchise's history that Q isn't played by someone older.

The last time we saw Q was in 2002's 'Die Another Day,' where he was played by a nutty John Cleese. In all of his previous incarnations, he was played by Desmond Llewelyn.

Fans of the classic 'James Bond' movies will remember Q, the gadget master, who has appeared in 19 of the 22 films. He is best-known for handing the intricate gadgets to Bond for use on his missions. Q (short for Quartermaster) is the head of Q Branch (or later Q Division), the fictional research and development division of the British Secret Service.

So far the 'Skyfall' cast is a humdinger, with Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes and Albert Finney among the other stars.

'Skyfall' is set to open in North America in November 2012.

*Spoilers all over this review and I don't care*

A total rehash of the first three movies as if told by a mentally retarded person with stake shoved through their skull and brain matter oozing out. Oh and the bloody ending, which is only as bloody as a period without a pad. Breaking Dawn Pt. 1.

2 Good Things About This Film

  1. Uhm...I...there's got to be something...oh, she smiled more than once. I was shocked.
  2. Anna Kendrick is in it for five seconds. I think when they filmed this she was wondering, Why am I doing this? I've been in 50/50Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Up in the Air, and even Rocket Science – all films that were critically liked and are bound to be cult classics – why am I in Twilight again? Contract, right...She so doesn't need this role. It better pay well. It was nice to see an actress in this film. And I'm well aware of these people's ability to act, because I've mentioned it in other reviews, but this film...well read the bad things.

17 Bad Things About This Film

  1. OMG, the back and forth with the I love you, no I love you, NO I LOVE YOU a lot...was disgusting. Every time they kissed I wanted to not throw up. I tried really hard not to throw up. This film literally made me sick to my stomach. It should be illegal that so many cliches were able to congregate in one film. And the person that allows it should be shot, a lot...in the face.
  2. If men were really that wimpy this world would have died the moment it started.
  3. The kiss at the wedding was just a rotten cherry on top of the already mushy movie. Ick.
  4. It could have been 20-30 minutes shorter if they cut out all the I love you's and the Jacob storming out as if he got his balls stepped on.
  5. The first hour was like porn without the sex. Yes, that's how bad the acting was.
  6. They teased a fight and a fight did happen, but it sucked and it was likeDaredevil all over again. The camera angles were too close and no one could tell who was in danger and who wasn't and who was making a great move and who was just getting crapped on like a cop car via an Occupier.
  7. The lines were terrible. Oh you are a vampire, please put your teeth into me and let's make babies. Yes, that's the kind of lines that were littered throughout this film. I don't even know how one reads that script and goes This is so golden. I'm going to get an Oscar just by staring at it.
  8. Speaking of babies...the feeding baby scene was so poorly done that I don't know. I don't know how anyone can look through a camera, see that acting, hear those words and think WOW, I got myself a surefire winner.
  9. If sap could kill, I'd be dead and so would anyone that saw this film.
  10. It's the new Ring.
  11. This is on the list of films that are probably worse than waterboarding.
  12. As someone who wants to be a published writer, I cannot, for the life of me, understand how anyone can write this and think that it's good. I think I understand how it feels to be someone that writes their on music and plays their own instrument looking at a pop doofus lip syncing and making millions. It is sickening.
  13. The ending is cliched. I've said that so much it's now a cliché. Opening eyes to show someone's alive. Please. I'd rather see her teeth sharpen than this lameness.
  14. This imprinting is gross. It's like whispering in a baby's ear, I like you. I'm going to wait until you're legal and we're going to make our own baby. Ugh.
  15. Pedophile undertones aren't the only thing. There's abuse in this film. I'm bruised from having sex with a vampire, what is the first thing I want to say? Oh, right, I don't care, I LOVE YOU. Ugh. This abuse stuff isn't a joke, but apparently it is with a vampire. Though Klingons have sex like that and I remember that episode of DS9. It was way better than this cliché mess of cliches.
  16. And no condom for vampire sex, cause baby making with dead sperm is not possible. OH WAIT, IT IS. What a terrible twist. These books must have sucked worse than these vampires do. I hate vampires. All of them. They should all burn in the sun with garlic cloves shoved in their eye sockets while they stand in silver rain.
  17. GIVE ME ZOMBIES!

Ha, ha, speaking of zombies, I think that someone needs to remake these films with zombies roaming around. It would so make this film five hundred-billion-million times better. I'm sure I've done this already in the previous review.

In conclusion Breaking Dawn Part 1 is a drawn out boring film that should have never existed and no male should waste any of their life ever seeing it. NO, it is not worth whatever she promises. It isn't. There's nothing she could give you that will make up for you feeling like you got the short end of the stick on this one.

0 'Harry Potter' DVDs Returning Late 2012, Early 2013

Harry Potter
When I suggested that another "Harry Potter" complete DVD boxed set was on its way in the next year or so, I wasn't very far off. Warner Bros might be making a big deal of the fact that "Harry Potter" DVDs are being taken off shelves starting December 29, but they won't be gone forever. In fact, one head honcho over at WB says that yes, there will be a new even better special edition boxed set of all eight "Potter" DVDs due out by the end of 2012.
Entertainment Weekly chatted with Warner Bros's senior VP and general manager of their theatrical catalog Jeff Baker, who says that execs at WB are planning on a new boxed set focused on special features due out next year.
"There is discussion internally about aggregating assets from all of these films over the last decade and adding some new things -- we’ve never done an Ultimate Edition on the final two films -- and doing some grand kind of piece," he says. "It could be the end of 2012 or the beginning of ’13."
In other words, the current boxed set that is coming out on November 11 that has all eight "Potter" DVDs doesn't sound like the be-all-end-all collector's item for die-hard "Potter" fans, which explains why the current boxed set is going for $60 on Amazon.com, by all intents and purposes a steal. If you -- like me -- have been saving your pretty pennies for a compilation that includes a whole slew of special features, perhaps its best to hold off on purchasing the DVDs until next year when the (better) edition comes out.
Baker adds that, though WB has been making a big deal about how they're pulling the "Potter" DVDs off shelves on December 29, the DVDs will probably still be around at the beginning of next year. It's not that WB is issuing a recall of the DVDs, it's that they won't be shipping out any new ones.
"Even though there could be a sense of urgency from the consumers' perspective, there will be 'Potter' product come the first of the year," he explains. "But over time, they’ll be less and less of that inventory. At some point, whether it's next April or May or June or July, it'll probably be very difficult to find 'Harry Potter' product, especially if you're looking for the third movie or the fifth movie, for example."
If you had been getting worried that you'd never be able to find a "Potter" DVD again after December 29, this should ease your fears. The Boy Who Lived isn't going to be gone forever, and he'll likely be back before you even get a chance to really miss him.
